LINDY is a german-born premium cable manufacturer that specialises in the production of computer and audiovisual electronics. Their ethos is to create products with unbeatable quality whilst still being affordable. The brief was to create a showcase website that would allow sales reps to effectively market their products to potential customers at trade shows.

Design approach

Right from the beginning I wanted the focus to be on the products and their premium aesthetic to allow them to stand out from the busy list of competitors. The aesthetic aimed to contrast the vibrant LINDY red against dark themed pages with heavy use of product renders, .svg animation, video and interaction design. This allowed the journey to encourage product exploration, engaging the users.

Splitting the products into their intended function and giving the renders plenty of breathing room ensured when in a trade show environment the spotlight would be on them. Combining this with their associated abstract symbols a minimal style and a friendly team photography made the brand and user experience feel like the products, premium.
