America's finest

Stillhouse was acquired by Bacardi in 2019 and along with it came a rebrand. The new look was heavily inspired by Americana, nature, and their own products, described as "playfully rugged". The project was to take the new brand and interpret it for digital use allowing Stillhouse to sell, connect and acquire more customers.

Design approach

Throughout design I focused on a number of areas; the first was ensuring the rough and bold visual aesthetic was accurately reflected for digital use; application of the detailed illustrations alongside the products and paper patterns became key in matching the website to the product identity.

Strong, bold typography was needed to contend with the high number of visual elements. Ensuring titles were short and punchy allowed copy to grab attention where needed and further reinforce the brand attitude.

Finally, a focus on the individual products, by making use of the unique packaging each page was styled with bold matching colours in a full-viewport-height hero section making each product feel different to one another.
